This beautiful woodland walk through Mescoed Mawr, Craig-y-Wenallt, Graig-y-Merchant to pant-yr-eos reservoir and back along the canal to the centre. Paths are natural and uneven in places and drop to single file. The overall distance is 8 miles and will take roughly 3 hours depending on pace.

Apart from a carpet of bluebells over the woodland floor there are many other plants, trees and landmarks to see along the way, including lots of wildlife.

Please be ready to leave the centre by 9.30am. You MUST bring any medication needed e.g diabetes, asthma, allergies or other. Please discuss your medication needs with myself, Kate, or Marc before we set out.  Wear appropriate clothing and footwear, bring water and snacks if needed. There are no bathrooms along this route!!  Due to the recent weather and heavy rainfall some of the paths are extremely muddy. Walking boots are a must, it is too muddy and slippery for any other footwear.
