The canal is a beautiful place but do you know what wildflowers live here? Or even how important they are to our beautiful habitat? Join us and understand the amazing countryside on your doorstep. Be guided by local expert, Roger James, along the canal, around Allt-yr-yn nature reserve and the wildflower meadow. It’s £2 per person and booking is essential due to limited spaces. Sturdy footwear is a must including waterproofs to hand. Some paths will be muddy and overgrown so this walk is not suitable for prams, pushchairs and wheelchairs. Unfortunately we cannot take dogs this time. The walk will be about 2/3 hours long and you’ll learn lots of interesting facts. We will finish back at the centre for tea / coffee and biscuits. It also gives you an opportunity to ask any other questions you missed. For booking you can email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., Telephone 01633 892167 or pop in!
